Xamarin Raises $54M

In what it says is the largest single round raised by any mobile application platform company, Xamarin has raised a $54 million Series C financing round led by new and existing investors, including Charles River Ventures, Floodgate, Ignition Partners, Insight Venture Partners, and Lead Edge Capital.  The company has now raised a total of $82 million in three rounds of funding.
