Google Buys Robotics Company Boston Dynamics

BostonDynamicsGoogle has acquired Boston Dynamics, a company that makes robots that can walk, run, and is capable of maintaining balance on different terrain. The company’s list of clients include DARPA, the U.S. Army, Navy and Marine Corps, and Sony, among others.

This is Google’s eight acquisition in the robotics space in the last six months or so. The size of the deal was not shared.
