Drawbridge Raises $6.5M From Sequoia Capital, Kleiner Perkins

Drawbridge, a startup founded by former Google and AdMob scientist Kamakshi Sivaramakrishnan, has officially come out of stealth. The startup has also received $6.5 million in Series A funding from Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Sequoia Capital.

Drawbridge was founded in November 2010 by former lead scientist with AdMob, Kamakshi Sivaramakrishnan. AdMob was acquired by Google in 2010. Ms. Sivaramakrishnan has a doctorate in information theory from Stanford University.

Drawbridge is developing a self-learning cross-device advertising solution that brings desktop-like targeting to mobile advertising.  Drawbridge’s cross-device advertising platform is currently in beta.
