Yahoo Hires Jacqueline Reses

Yahoo has appointed Jacqueline Reses as executive vice president of people and development. Ms. Reses will be responsible for leading human resources and talent acquisition as well as corporate and business development globally. She  joins the company on Friday, and will report directly to Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer.

Ms. Reses led the U.S. media group at Apax Partners, where she built a team of investment professionals. Ms. Reses also served as CEO of iBuilding, a real estate software business that was launched byTishman Speyer and Benchmark Capital. Previously, she spent seven years at Goldman Sachs, where in addition to working on corporate transactions, she also supported the firm’s mentoring, training and recruiting efforts.

Ms. Reses has served on several non-profit boards, was named one of Crain’s New York Business‘ ‘Most Influential Women,’ and was one of DealMaker‘s ‘Dealmakers of the Year.’
