The New Google Reader Is Here

The new Google Reader is here. The jazzier avatar of the Google Reader comes with a brand new design, as promised last week, and ofcourse a closer integration with Google+.  A new Android application comes close on its heels.

“Retiring Reader’s sharing features wasn’t a decision that we made lightly, but in the end, it helps us focus on fewer areas, and build an even better experience across all of Google,” writes Alan Green, software engineer with Google, in the Google Reader Blog.
