Tally Secures $15M In Series A Funding

San Francisco-based financial technology startup Tally has raised a $15 million Series A round, led by Shasta Ventures. The round also includes existing investors AITV, Silicon Valley Bank, and the company’s seed round lead investor Cowboy Ventures. Shasta’s managing director, Sean Flynn, will join Cowboy’s Aileen Lee on Tally’s board of directors. Tally says it will use the funds to expand its team. The investment brings the total funding raised by the company to $17 million to date.

If users are approved for a credit line, the Tally app starts tracking their due dates, balances, and APRs. Higher APR balances are transferred to their Tally credit line.
