SoundCloud Raises Series D Round

Cloud-based music sharing site SoundCloud has raised a Series D round of funding pegged at a reported $60 million. The investment was led by Institutional Venture Partners. The Chernin Group, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, GGV Capital, Index Ventures and Union Square Ventures also participated in the round.

The Berlin-based startup is now valued at roughly $700 million.
