SAIC secures $170.9M cybersecurity contract with Texas Department of Information Resources

Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) has been awarded a $170.9 million contract by the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) to provide cybersecurity services for state agency networks.

Under the agreement, SAIC will deliver security operations services, including deploying and maintaining security tools, monitoring and managing security environments, and addressing compliance requirements under state, federal, and industry regulations.

This contract adds to SAIC’s portfolio of IT and cybersecurity services for state and local governments, which includes work with Virginia, Colorado, and California.

SAIC will serve as the prime contractor for the project.
