Red Hat Enterprise Linux comes to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

Red Hat and Oracle have inked a multi-stage alliance. The collaboration starts with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) running on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) as a supported operating system.

Flexible virtual machines can run RHEL, and customers can migrate existing workloads to OCI. Customers can also contact both Red Hat and Oracle support to help resolve potential issues, with an expanded joint support agreement.

RHEL is initially supported on virtual machine shapes using AMD, Intel and Arm processors.
