Prosper Marketplace Raises $165M

Prosper Marketplace, an online privately held credit marketplace, has raised a $165 million Series D round of financing. The investment was led by Credit Suisse NEXT Investors, part of Credit Suisse Asset Management. J.P. Morgan Asset Management, SunTrust Banks, a subsidiary of USAA, BBVA Ventures, Neuberger Berman Private Equity Funds, Passport Capital, and Breyer Capital, also participated in the round.
