Pinterest Launches Business Insights

Pinterest-Business-Insights

Pinterest has launched a new initiative that lets businesses analyze their Pinterest activity using commercially available marketing technology software, including Salesforce (ExactTarget marketing cloud), Hootsuite, Spredfast, Percolate, Piqora, Curalate and Tailwind.  Pinterest Analytics will continue to be available as a free tool, says the image sharing and discovery site.

Pinterest says it is working with a group of independent marketing technology (‘MarTech’) companies to offer Pinterest business insights like which boards and pins are getting the most engagement, which downstream actions pins are driving or what products are most popular with pinners.  The MarTech developers get automated access to some public data through the Pinterest Business Insights API.
