International law firm Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman will be the first law firm to deploy Magellan, an AI-enabled analytics platform, from Enterprise Information Management (EIM) company OpenText.

Pillsbury will leverage Magellan to deliver expanded automation and artificial intelligence enhancements to the firm’s global legal practice, the companies said in a statement.

The analytics suite is expected to help Pillsbury lawyers understand unstructured content—such as large email collections, hard drive and mobile device images, file servers and cloud repositories.
