PARC’s Van Jacobson Inducted to ‘Internet Hall of Fame’

PARC Research Fellow Van Jacobson has been inducted to the Internet Society’s Internet Hall of Fame. Mr. Jacobson joined PARC in 2006 to lead the Content-Centric Networking (CCN) program.

The Internet Society, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, honored Mr. Jacobson as one of the landmark “Innovators” who made outstanding technological, commercial, or policy advances and helped expand the Internet’s reach. Others honored in the first annual Internet Hall of Fame include Vint Cerf and Tim Berners-Lee.
