IPG bringing quantum computing to advertising with D-Wave collaboration

D-Wave and Interpublic Group (IPG) have announced a new partnership, with the aim to develop quantum computing applications in marketing. IPG has already initiated a pilot program with D-Wave to developing marketing optimization equations for one of its key customers within the retail sector.

The collaboration will focus on the creation of quantum-hybrid applications for marketing campaign optimization, say the companies. IPG will use D-Wave’s quantum computers and hybrid solvers, available via the Leap quantum cloud service, along with IPG’s data resources.
