Intel Invested $740M In Cloudera

Intel has invested $740 million in the company for a 18 per cent stake, says Cloudera. The company had announced the equity investment last week, without specifying details.

Cloudera had raised $160 million from T. Rowe Price, Google Ventures, MSD Capital, among others, earlier in March. The combined $900 million financing brings Cloudera’s current valuation to about $4.1 billion.
