IBM Launches Watson Mobile Developer Challenge

IBM has launched the Watson Mobile Developer Challenge, a global competition to encourage developers to create mobile consumer and business apps powered by Watson. The program, being driven by the newly formed IBM Watson Group, aims to encourage developers to spread cognitive computing apps into the marketplace.

IBM announced the challenge at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, where the company is demonstrating its mobile and Watson capabilities.
