Howard Schultz Invests In Groupon, Joins Board

Groupon has elected Howard Schultz to the company’s board of directors. Mr. Schultz is chairman, president and chief executive officer of Starbucks Coffee Company.

In connection with Mr. Schultz joining the board, Maveron, a venture capital firm co-founded by Mr. Schultz, has invested in the company.
