Honeywell Launches Smart Thermostat

Honeywell has launched a Wi-Fi Smart Thermostat, a connected thermostat that allows homeowners to customize it to their home décor, as well.

The Wi-Fi Smart Thermostat is equipped with mobile and email alerts, and with Smart Response technology, the thermostat learns how long it takes to heat and cool a home.  

A free smartphone app  is available in iTunes Store and Google Play.  Temperature is controlled within +/- 1 degree, says Honeywell.

The Wi-Fi Smart Thermostat from Honeywell will be available from May 2013 at  $249.
