Google unveils Springboard enterprise search

Google is launching a new enterprise search product called Springboard. The company says it continues to invest in applying technologies like machine intelligence to power its web search engine, and Google Springboard shows off some that intelligence.

Google Springboard searches across all information in Google Apps including Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Drive, and Contacts. Springboard can also assist users by proactively providing useful and actionable information and recommendations, says Google.

Springboard is currently under a limited preview. You can sign up for the early adopter program here.
