Google Says Acer, Samsung Chromebook Models From $299 Now

The Google Chromebooks team has revamped the chromebooks, and Google says the Chromebooks from Samsung and Acer will cost from $299 updawards now. You can find these prices online through Google’s retail partners Amazon, Best Buy and Tiger Direct.  Samsung is also introducing a black version of its Wi-Fi only Samsung Chromebook Series 5, available currently in the United States only.

Among the changes you will see with the new Chromebooks are a streamlined user-interface, and a revamped Tabs page. Google has also given the Chrome Web store a new look ahead of the holidays.
