Eventbrite Co-Founder Julia Hartz Named CEO

Eventbrite has appointed the company’s co-founder Julia Hartz as chief executive officer. Ms. Hartz also joins the Eventbrite board. Ms. Hartz co-founded Eventbrite in 2006 with Kevin Hartz and Renaud Visage. Kevin Hartz remains on the board and as executive chairman. In the ten years since inception, Eventbrite has processed $5 billion in gross ticket sales in 180 countries.
