Dwolla Raises $16.5M

Dwolla

Online payment network Dwolla has raised$16.5 million round led by Andreessen Horowitz. Union Square Ventures, Village Ventures, and Thrive Capital also participated in the round.

Dwolla is going to double its workforce in Iowa and New York, says the company. Dwolla is also expanding to San Francisco. Dwolla is based and headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa.
