Cohesity chooses Red Hat Enterprise Linux for Data Cloud platform

Cohesity has selected Red Hat Enterprise Linux as the foundational operating system of its  Data Cloud platform.

Previously running on CentOS Linux 7, Cohesity says it faced challenges related to system maintenance and patching, as the Data Cloud platform grew in usage and capabilities.

Cohesity’s Data Cloud platform offers a unified interface for managing and securing data across multiple sources and cloud environments. The platform aims to help customers deal with challenges such as increasing data volumes, diverse workloads, and cybersecurity threats, according to the company.
