Cisco To Cut 1300 Jobs Worldwide

Cisco Systems is planning to eliminate about 2 per cent of its global headcount, which would impact roughly 1,300 jobs worldwide. The company said it is  working on “a focused set of limited restructurings” and added that the process was “part of a continuous process of simplifying the company.”

Cisco announced the job cuts by an official statement emailed to members of the media.
