Axelera AI raises $27M (Netherlands)

Eindhoven, Netherlands-based AI startup Axelera AI has raised $27 million in a Series A investment round.

The round was led by Innovation Industries with participation from imec.xpand and the Federal Holding and Investment Company of Belgium (SFPIM), according to a statement from the company.

Additionally, the Netherland Enterprise Agency (RVO) has awarded Axelera AI $6.7 million of Innovation Credit (Innovatiekrediet), a loan reserved for innovative and impactful projects, commissioned by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy.

According to the company website, Axelera AI is developing a hardware and software platform for AI “that will make the industry more integrated, efficient and accessible.”
