Android Apps Come To Nook With Google Play

Nook_Google_PlayNook HD and Nook HD+ users can now access the 700,000 apps and games available for the Android market, with Google Play, on their devices.

Nook tablets will also include Google services like the Chrome browser, Gmail, YouTube, Google Search and Google Maps, says Barnes & Noble.   

Google Play and the other Google services will be available to  Nook HD and Nook HD+ customers in the US and UK at no cost, through an automatic over-the-air update, that will roll out to all devices connected to Wi-Fi.
