Acer, Paramount Co-Marketing Star Trek

acer_star_trek_paramountAcer America and Paramount Pictures have inked a co-marketing partnership to promote Acer’s touch-optimized mobile product line and Paramount’s Star Trek Into Darkness film coming this May.

The campaign will cross-promote Star Trek Into Darkness along with several of Acer’s touch-optimized mobile products, including the Aspire S7 UltrabookIconia W5 tablet,  Aspire V5 notebook with touch, and a new notebook to be launched on May.

Acer and Paramount is also unveiling a co-marketing campaign targeted at the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Columbia and Peru. The campaign will incorporate broadcast and online video, digital and print advertising, outdoor media, retail merchandising, social marketing, web and promotions.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has established an Artificial Intelligence Safety and Security Board (the board). The inaugural members include CEOs and executives from companies like OpenAI, Anthropic, Delta Air Lines, IBM, Nvidia, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon Web Services, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), and Cisco.
