Use Your Mobile Device As Car Key Or Tool With Verizon And Delphi

Verizon_Delphi

Delphi Automotive and Verizon have a vehicle diagnostic tool that lets drivers use a smartphone, laptop or tablet as a key fob. The remote access tool also allows drivers to track, locate, access, secure, or monitor their vehicles online.

The system operates through a downloadable Delphi smartphone application, available for Android and iOS, as well as a Delphi website.

The tool works in most vehicles sold in the United States from 1996 onward.  You can see if the diagnostic tool will work with your car at the Delphi website. The Delphi installation module costs $249.99.
