Chromebooks Adaption In Education Grow

There are now 2,000 schools using Chromebooks for education, twice as many as 3 months ago.

The most recent schools to join adopt Chromebooks include the Transylvania County Schools in rural North Carolina (deploying 900 devices), the St.Thomas Aquinas High School in Florida  (2,200 devices), and Rocketship Education in California (using 1,100 Chromebooks).

The Google Apps for Education community also continues to grow, says Google, with Chicago Public Schools bringing 270,000 students, teachers and administrators into the cloud.
