Applitools raises $8 million

Automated visual software testing company Applitools has raised $8 million. The investment was led by Sierra Ventures, with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners and existing investors Magma Venture Partners, iAngels and La Maison.

Tim Guleri, managing director of Sierra Ventures, has joined the Applitools board, along with Bill Macaitis, former SVP at Salesforce and Slack CMO/CRO.

Applitools has raised $15 million to date.
