Yahoo Acquires AI Imaging Company LookFlow

Yahoo has acquired LookFlow, a startup that lets users discover and share images using artificial intelligence and machine learning. LookFlow revealed the acquisition on its website.

The LookFlow technology is expected to be integrated with future versions of Flickr. The company says it will also help Yahoo build a new deep learning group.

LookFlow was started in 2009, and has one to ten employees, according to its LinkedIn page. The company was founded by Bobby Jaros and Simon Osindero.
