WordPress Gets Eventbrite Integration

Eventbrite

Eventbrite and Automattic have inked a partnership that lets users integrate Eventbrite events into their WordPress sites.

WordPress will start offering new themes, as well as a widget that allows people to update their websites with information about their upcoming events.

Before this integration, event organizers were required to install plug-ins or host their own website in order to integrate their Eventbrite events into their sites.

According to numbers released by the companies, WordPress powers nearly 20% of the top 10 million websites in the world, while Eventbrite has processed over 130 million tickets and $1.5 billion in gross ticket sales.
