WeTransfer Raises $25M

WeTransfer

WeTransfer, an Amsterdam-based company that provides free file-transfer service to users, has completed a Series A round of funding from Highland Capital Partners Europe. The funding will be used to support the growth of WeTransfer across US, Europe, and  other geographies, says the company.  Tony Zappalà and Irena Goldenberg, partners at HCPE, will be joining WeTransfer’s board.

WeTransfer has an user base of over 25 million monthly active users that send 70 million transfers each month, according to numbers shared by the company.
