Weebly Raises $35M

Weebly, a service that lets users create websites, has raised $35 million in a Series C round of funding. Existing investors Sequoia Capital and Tencent Holdings participated in the round.

The funds will be used to expand into new markets, and increase investment in R&D among other things, says the company.

Over 20 million people around the world have started a site on Weebly, according to numbers released by the company.
