Vyatta Secures $12 Million in Funding

Vyatta has completed a funding round of $12 million led by HighBAR Partners. Existing investors JPMorgan, Arrowpath Venture Partners and Citrix Systems also participated in the round. Vyatta will use the growth capital to scale its sales and engineering efforts to support its global leadership role in cloud networking and security.

Vyatta is into enterprise software, delivering a software-based network operating system that is portable to standard x86 hardware as well as common virtualization and cloud computing platforms. The $12 million round of funding brings Vyatta’s total funding to more than $45 million.
