Violin Memory has promoted Steve Dalton to senior vice president of engineering from vice president of software. Mr. Dalton joined Violin one year ago from Intel, where he was the general manager of Intel’s Datacenter flash software organization. Mr. Dalton reports to Kevin DeNuccio, president and chief executive officer of Violin Memory.
