Unity acquires game hosting division of Multiplay

Unity has entered into a definitive acquisition agreement to acquire Multiplay, and its game hosting business from Game Digital, for roughly $25.2 million (£19 million GBP). The events business and its associated IP’s will remain with Game.

Multiplay will continue to operate under the Multiplay brand. The entire team will join Unity while continuing to operate in Blackfield, United Kingdom, said Unity in a statement.
