IT Fail Causes United To Sell Tickets For $0

If you were looking for flights on United Airlines on Thursday, you may just have been very, very lucky. A systems error caused the airline to issue tickets at $0 (plus fees).

United shut down its booking system after the error was detected. The company did not say exactly how many such tickets it had issued in the few hours the erroneous price was displayed.

On Friday, the company clarified on Twitter, that it would honor the tickets sold.
