Unisys wins NRC cloud computing contract

Unisys was selected for award of a task order to provide services and support to move the Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s (NRC) high-performance computing operations to a cloud platform.

Services were awarded as a task order against the Department of the Interior’s suite of Foundation Cloud Hosting Services contracts, for a period of up to six years if all options are exercised.

Work under the task order will include the implementation of the Unisys solution to move workloads to the cloud, and the subsequent operation and maintenance of the agency’s high-performance computing cloud environment.
