U.S. Air Force awards Harris $130 million IDIQ contract for video data link radios

The U.S. Air Force has awarded Harris  a five-year, $130 million ceiling, single-award IDIQ contract to develop and deliver Hand Held Video Data Link (HH-VDL) radios for warfighters. The radios can deliver data to and from multiple airborne assets – creating an expanded, mobile communications network, says Harris.

HH VDL radios are expected to replace existing incumbent ground ISR terminals.
