Twitter Turns Seven

Twitter_first_tweet

Microblogging site Twitter turned seven on Thursday. It has been an eventful last few years; countries burnt, trophies won, tsunamis, hurricanes, elections, resignations, and over 200 million users creating over 400 million tweets each day, talking about the hurrays, horrors, or Justin Bieber.

In the process, Twitter has become a $10 billion information network. We can talk about its advertising model, revenue model, business model, or how its key executives had been departing; but be that it may, there can be no debate that Twitter has changed our lives.

Here is a video Twitter made for the occasion..

Happy birthday!
