Twitter Goes Shopping Again

Twitter has acquired social tracking service Trendrr for an undisclosed sum. While Trendrr will honor existing partner contracts for Trendrr.TV, the company is essentially closing shop and will be integrated with Twitter offerings.

Earlier this year, the microblogging site acquired Bluefin Labs, a social TV analytics company.
