Twitter Buys Over 900 IBM Patents, Inks Cross-License Deal

Twitter has acquired over 900 patents from IBM. The two companies have also entered into a patent cross-license agreement. The transaction took place in December, according to a statement by IBM released on Friday. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
