Twitter Acqhires Social Search Startup Spindle

_DSC8643.jpgTwitter has acquired social startup Spindle for an undisclosed amount. The Spindle team will be relocating and joining the Twitter team in San Francisco, and the company is shutting down its services.

“By joining forces with Twitter, we can do so much more to help you find interesting, timely, and useful information about what’s happening around you,” said the company in a blog post.
