Time Warner Cable, Viacom Renew Distribution Deal

Time Warner Cable and Viacom have signed a multi-year renewal of their distribution agreement, which will allow Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks to continue delivery of the entire portfolio of Viacom networks to their subscribers.

The multiplatform agreement provides for continued carriage of Viacom’s channels and content across linear television in both SD and HD, VOD, as well as websites and apps.

Time Warner Cable will also make the entertainment network Epix available to its subscribers under the terms of the agreement. Epix will deliver approximately 3,000 titles on demand to Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks digital customers.

Additional terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
