Sue Siegel named chief innovation officer for GE

CEO of GE Ventures, Sue Siegel, has been named Chief Innovation Officer for GE. She will be responsible for developing and accelerating the company’s long-term innovation strategy and will report directly to GE Chairman and CEO John Flannery.

Ms. Siegel will continue to lead GE Ventures. She will also serve as a member of the company’s capital allocation and portfolio management governance, said GE in a statement.

Ms. Siegel has over 30 years of experience in the corporate and venture capital world. She trained as a biochemist and molecular biologist, earning her M.S. from Boston University.
