Square teams up with TouchBistro, Vend

Square is partnering with TouchBistro and Vend, two companies offering checkout or “point-of-sale” software for retail outlets. Under the collaboration, merchants using TouchBistro and Vend solutions, will be able to use Square for payment processing.

The integration is currently being rolled out to select vendors, and will be extended to all TouchBistro and Vend businesses in the coming weeks, says Square.

Many larger sellers, like full-service restaurants and retailers, have individualized point-of-sale needs and have built their businesses using TouchBistro and Vend. By integrating with Square, these sellers can continue to use existing tools, while adding functionalities from Square.
