Sprint Earns $2 Billion WSCA Contract

The Western States Contracting Alliance (WSCA) has awarded Sprint a four-year, $2 billion contract to serve as one of its wireless products and services providers. The contract with WSCA, a national public sector purchasing consortium, represents one of the largest for Sprint in 2012.

The WSCA purchasing consortium is composed of 15 states that have joined together for increased buying power through cooperative multistate contracting. State and local government entities (including public safety, public education, health care and utilities) and authorized non-profit organizations across the country use WSCA’s purchasing capabilities.
