SparkCognition awarded AI and machine learning contract

SparkCognition was awarded a contract by the Department of Defense’s Defense Innovation Unit Experimental (DIUx), to provide artificial intelligence and machine learning tools to support the first stage of Project Quantum. 

Subsequent phases of this project is expected to refine SparkCognition’s model given additional data and testing scenarios; as well collaboration on UI design and enterprise relational databases integration.

According to a statement by SparkCognition, the U.S. Air Force (USAF), via DIUx, will leverage machine learning methodologies to analyze and reveal latent relationships within data resident across the USAF, and apply these toward its planning, programming, budgeting, and execution (PPBE) process.
