Snowflake Computing raises $263 million

San Mateo, California-based data warehouse company Snowflake Computing, has raised $263 million in funding. The investment was led by Iconiq Capital, Altimeter Capital and Sequoia Capital. Existing investors Capital One Growth Ventures, Madrona Venture Group, Redpoint Ventures, Sutter Hill Ventures and Wing Ventures also participated in the round.

With this round of funding, Snowflake’s pre-money valuation is $1.5 billion, said the company in a statement.

Since its founding in 2012, Snowflake Computing has raised a total of $473 million.
